PLASFLEX SURFACE SYSTEMS
“PLASFLEX” surfacing and resurfacing seamless hard court systems are ideal for sport courts such as tennis, netball, basketball, volleyball. They incorporate the use of the highest grade acrylic emulsions - fortified with mineral fillers, fibers, and silica sand – the best quality, imported 99% chrome (more algae resistant) based green pigments, including our popular “PACIFIC DARK” and “WIMBLEDON LIGHT” green for single colour and two tone applications. We also offer a variety of colour options to suit customers’ needs.

1. FILLER COURSE: Over new asphalt pavement or an existing surface, apply 1, 2 or even 3 (depending on surface) coats of Plasflex Filler Coat comprising high grade acrylic emulsions fortified with mineral fillers, fibers, and silica sand - to fill in surface voids and correct minor surface defects.

2. TEXTURE COURSE: Typically 1 coat of an acrylic latex colour concentrate containing high quality pigments, mineral fillers, and fibers, field-mixed with silica sand. Speed of play can be fine-tuned by adjusting the amount and gradation of sand.

3. FINISH COURSE: Typically 1 coat of an acrylic latex color without sand to create a vibrant, durable finish highly resistant to weather and ultra-violet degradation. Typically available in Dark Green, Light Green, Red, Tan, Brown, and Blues

4. LINES: White Striping Paint, a high hiding, heavy bodied acrylic latex, comes both textured and untextured, and covers in one application

Typical “Plasflex Spring” Acrylic Cushioned
Surfacing System


Plasflex spring cushion system combines the consistent bounce, sure footing and outstanding durability of Plasflex Classic and Ace surface system with innovative shock absorbing properties of rubber cushioning.

The result is a sure footed surface that dynamically responds to body impact and reduces fatigue on player legs, ankles and feet. The multi layered resiliency lengthens the orthopaedic life of players of all ages – from juniors who are just staring out to play competitively to seniors who are enjoying their game in their golden years

1. FILLER COURSE: Refer Plasflex Classic/Ace.

2. HEAVY RUBBER COURSE: Typically 3 coats of an acrylic latex liquid rubber coating containing specially graded, rubber particles, designed to provide maximum resiliency and comfort in the minimum number of coats in preparation for the texture course.

Typical Plasflex Acrylic Hardcourt Surfacing System for level cracked courts

1. FILLER COURSE: Over an existing cracked surface, apply 1 Plasflex Filler Coats per PLasflex Classic, or Ace systems above.

2. SEAM REINFORCMENT: Woven fiberglass mesh fabric layer, sandwiched between filler coats to form a fibre glass re-inforced layer - designed to eliminate or minimize surface haircracks

“PLASPHALT” overlay for undulated and/or cracked courts

1. PLASPHALT COURSE: The carpet comprises either approx. 25mm thick premixed asphalt or multilayer (specialised chip and spray) system - the application of which, shall be at our discretion. The overlay, due to its relative thickness and method of application, considerably improves existing poor levels and serves to minimise, and often eliminate surface reflective cracking.
